S.F. Unger maker 162

I have this banjo with the name , S.F. Unger, maker 162 stamped on the wood of the neck, inside the pot. I have had this banjo since 1962-3. It has 5 long strings & the short "5th" string. No one I have talked with has any information about a S.F. Unger. Larry Unger suggested Doug Unger, but I'v no luck in reaching him. Also, other banjoists here in Ca. , have no information.Any ideas.?Thanks.
