I guess I love too many styles of music and instruments too much, I haven't posted anything on the hangout in a long time. I've taken up mandolin and have spent time on Mandolin Cafe. Mando is great fun and I've learned to read on it so I've been playing at some old timey/ Irish music jams. It's also easier to carry on a plane.
But still (except for a few highland piper jobs) most of my paid work comes in on banjo, I've been starting to pickup and play some dixieland jobs again, It's been a few years since I've played and it's great fun.
