The Hangout gets the academic treatment

A couple of years ago, Dr. Janice Waldron posted a note wanting to study the Banjo Hangout.

Her paper was published in December 2011. A PhD friend send me the link.

You may not recognize the topic - banjos - from the title, but that's how they write (I know, I'm married to one):
