Rock And Roll Music and Clawhammer

I don't use to use the blog, but I have decided to try to make more blogs, and less posting in the Games forum. I use to get some new ideas on banjo now and then, and I will try to write down them.

Last week I saw a movie about The Beatles' time in Germany jsut before they became famous (I have seen it before, but it was still worth to look and listen to). The tune Rock And Roll Music (by Chuck Berry) was heard several times and it really got caught in my head. I heard in my head that it may be played in clawhammer style. Yesterday I started to work on it, and it worked out fine so far. I have made a first tab draft, but I see possible improvements everytime I play it. One problem I have is if it shall sound as a banjo playing Rock and Roll or as Rock and Roll played as an Old-Timey tune.

Some of the phrases actually reminds a little about the Round Peak version of John Henry.
