My Instruments:
I have two early 30s Kel Kroydon KK-10s with Curtis McPeake tonerings and Frank Neat mahogany necks. Also have two '90s Gibson RB-1 re-issues, one which I had fitted with a 40 hole archtop tone ring and the other with a no-hole Jimmy Cox KY 5 flathead ring, and a wonderful Granada which I put together from top notch parts....recently equipped with a Huber TrueTone Engineered Rim and HR30 ring . Absolutely Incredible Tone and Volume!! Try putting the TrueTone rim/ring assembly in your banjo....you'll love it! Also recently ran across a 1954 RB100 which I'm leaving in original configuration with the bronze tone hoop .......no plans for a tone ring. Sounds great as is!
