#405-5-A Gibson (1935) TB3 former archtop OPF with Robin Smith 5-string neck and an early '30's full height flathead Mastertone ring inside/
#8257-44 T or PB style 3 or 4 (? - original neck and resonator gone) archtop (1926) Gibson BB T&PF with Alan Jamieson 5-string neck.
Neat/Cox/Blaylock custom maple flathead made for me in 2005.
1977 Stelling Bellflower (walnut) (my main banjo for 26 great years).
1978 Stelling Whitestar (maple).

Favorite Bands/Musicians:
Banjo: Earl Scruggs (my first hero), Ben Eldridge (my second hero), Alan Munde, Bela Fleck, John Hickman, Eddie Adcock, Pete Wernick, and my new friend and an awesome picker, Jim Mills.
Guitar: Doc, Dan and Tony, also Kenny Smith and David Grier.
Mandolin: Sam Bush, David Grisman - about says it all. But you've got to add Kym Warner from The Greencards - a fantastic player. And who doesn't enjoy Sierra Hull's picking?
Bass: Missy Raines, Tom Gray.
I am pleased to have met them all.
