Howdy !
I started playing banjo when I was fourteen.
I never played any insruments before in my life.
One day, shortly after being exposed to bluegrass for the first time, I was over one of my friends apartment and hanging on his wall was a banjo, (I had never seen one before)so I asked him, and showed it to me and played a couple rolls for me..... And it was like love at first sound.
Ever since then, my love for music and the banjo has been growing with increasing momentum.
On the day of my 17th birthday, I heard Bela Fleck for the first time.
Since then all my friends say I've been Flecked :) now I play bluegrass, classical, jazz, polka, everything else.
Music has opened so many doors in my life and I feel like I've just set out on an amazing journey.
Its gonna be great.
