Digital cameras come packed with features that make our lives a little easier and occasionally, our pictures a little better. Ever tried to shoot something small, and wonder why the camera won't get it in focus? It is likely the camera is capable, but you have to make one simple adjustment.
On nearly every digital camera, there is an alternate focusing setting. For close-up work, the setting is marked by a FLOWER icon. Select that setting and your camera will now allow nice sharp focus on those tiny items you're trying to sell on eBay or BHO.
If your built in strobe keeps firing and ruining those close up shots, take your work outside, or a least on a window sill where the daylight can keep your strobe from automatically lighting.
