Bob Carlin is arguably the best-known clawhammer style banjoist performing today. He has taken the distinctive southern banjo style to appreciative audiences throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan and Australia. Carlin is a renowned teacher as well, appearing at camps, banjo workshops and weekends such as the Festival of American Fiddle Tunes, American Banjo Camp, the Tennessee Banjo Institute, the Maryland Banjo Academy, Banjo Camp North and the Augusta Heritage Workshop.
