I just joined this whole Banjo Hangout thing... there's a lot in here!
I've been playing since I was a kid and am grateful that my second teacher let me go at it by ear. Music Theory has never interested me in any way. It's all math to me and supremely boring. I like the music part of playing!
So... I put up a couple of videos over there in Media Archive. I've made a living at playing the banjo for the last 26-years, so one is a Promo Piece and the other is sittin' in with two jazz guys at a Concert.

Hi Gordy, I still have to catch one of your shows up here in Paradise or Chico, I love what you do with the banjo and wished you gave lessons. I am looking forward to meeting you some day...Oscar
