Black Death is a badass train riding band. I've never met em but I have a few mutual friends with some of the members. Their music is floating around on the internet to download, or at least was a little while back.

The banjo player, Joseph, also wrote a zine called "Clawhammer on Low or No Dollars" that you can find with a quick google search.
