I need to share my grief ...
From corgies on 2/16/2011 6:59:43 PM
If this post is inappropriate, please let me know.
One of my Corgis, Jack, died this afternoon. Today my heart is heavy, but I know that in a short time I'll fully let him go and be left with memories of 13 years of companionship, fun, joyous play, and unwavering affection. He was a sweetheart. Unlike Rosie who is out the dog door when I simply look at my banjo, Jack was always close by while I played.

I'm truly sorry. Jack sounds like a lovely dog. It is a hard loss.

Sorry about your loss. I dread the thought of losing 1 of my Corgi's. There such sweet dogs.

Corgis are sweet, and very much want to be an active part of their human family. To all of you, thanks much for the support! I appreciate it.

I'm so sorry...I quite like Corgi's. I'm not sure how long I'm going to have my big old guy around...

Dogs simply do not live long enough.

Sorry for your loss. We lost our Aussie Merle in March, 2009 and it was very tough. We still have our 15-year-old Corgi/Akita mix Vern, although he's slowed down a lot in the last year.
