Bb7

The dominant Bb chord is painted by an Eb major scale started on any chord
tone. (Bb-D-F-Ab) Any pattern built from an Eb major scale can be used for
melodic material for improvisation over Bb7. This includes patterns built
on thirds, fourths, fifths and combinations of arpeggio and scale
fragments. Below are patterns which can be used as material for "The Realm
of Bb7." Portions of the following patterns can be broken up to create new
patterns. Mix and match these patterns after thoroughly ingraining them
into your fingers and ears. Here is the scale and arpeggio which the
