This is a Nechville "Midnight Storm", and it is the only banjo that Nechville does NOT make in the USA. It is made of maple wood and has a Stelling bridge on it. I got this about a year ago, and if you go to Nechville products on this page I posted a comment about it. This a a really good sounding intermediate banjo it is very bright and has good action up and down the neck. It is still in mint condition, because I take great care of my instruments. One thing. When I recieved it the tuning knobs were cracked I had called an made a complaint, they sent me all new tuning knobs. I replaced all of them except the 5th string because I did not want to take it out of the neck and mess it up. So the 5th string tuning knob comes with the banjo, so does a Emerson bridge and the strap, and harshell case. I have a Sullivan Festival, and I just love the sound of that more then the Nechville Midnight Storm. The neck and body are still in great condidtion with basically no wear on the neck. I polish the banjo and oil the neck with lemon iol every four months. It is a great sounding banjo, but again does not compair to a Sullivan, and I do not really play it anymore.
