This is a really cool bass banjo that is also electric. It has a nice mellow, but very countrish twangy sound to it. I keep it tuned down to open "G" which keeps the open string sound very deep, but, at the sametime, still has a twangish sound for when you want to step away from bluegrass and lean more towards a countrish sound. I have only had this for a couple of months, but I never really use it anymore so I am cleaning up the herd. Because it is electric you can put electric strings on it, or if you wish you may put acoustic bass strings on it. I will ship for free in the USA only. It comes with a gig bag.
