For Sale: Osborne Chief #92 |
The time has come for me to give up playing. I have focal dystonia and can no longer play. This banjo deserves to go to someone who will play it. I bought this banjo used two years ago and have performed and recorded with it. It is by far the best banjo I've ever owned and I wish I could continue playing it. It is the standard Maple Osborne Chief. Gold plated, Blaylock tone ring. It has a set of Ugly Tuners which are to coolest tuners around. You can't help but want to use them on every song as they are easy to use and stay in tune.
The price of $4200.00 includes the banjo, the Dogwood strap, a Calton Case, and the Ugly Tuners. When I purchased the banjo, it came in a Delta Triangluar case. I purchased a Calton (still in immaculate condition) and the Ugly Tuners. I am willing to sell the banjo by itself with the Delta case for $3700.00. I would then sell the Calton for $500.00, and the Ugly Tuners for $200.00. But I'd like to sell the whole package at $4200.00 if possible.
Here are pictures of my Chief. It's in great condition. The headstock is a little dusty and that the flash enhanced the dust.
