Complete pot assembly for sale: included are a standard RK rim, an RK flange, an RK tension hoop, a set of RK hooks and nuts, a Kulesh tone ring, an RK-50 rim, and a remo head. The condition of each is described below. The rim was purchased some years ago -- it is very roughly finished, and stained. It has been trimmed to fit the ring. The flange, tension hoop and hook set were standard issue from an RK50 I purchased a few years ago. They have been played, but appear quite good to me, with a few smudge marks. The ring is one I purchased directly from the manufacturer -- he sold is as a second because he mistakenly drilled 10 holes into a vintage 20 ring. THIS IS NOT A BIG 10 TONE RING. The RK 50 rim is what started this whole journey -- I bought an RK 50 from a dealer who frequently discounts non-warrantied instruments. This one had had the coordinator rods tightened excessively, and the washers had forced their way into the rim. The damage is visible in the closeup photo. I also just discovered that there are a few nicks in the RK 50 rim, two of which are along the bearing edge -- I don't think that they will impact the sound, but they are there. I will update my photos to show this. The Remo head has been slightly used, but came with the RK 50 and has a higher crown. I don't think it will work with the standard pot. If you'd like, I can include a First Quality Head that I am not using. I began this journey searching for a woody tone, (I ended up buying a Tony Pass rim for my Maple Blossom from another BHO member.) I then wanted to utilize the hardware and neck of the RK 50, but have since bought a pot that I prefer. Please contact me with any questions, or requests for additional photographs.
