Welcome to the Banjo Hangout Articles Platform (beta)!
My goal for this new platform is to provide a venue for people to publish well-written articles which are not well-served by the Banjo Hangout's current forum/blog setup. Forums are great for discussion, and blog entries are great for keeping a personal "diary" of sorts, but we need a place to post longer articles for the general public.
This, of course, is a poor example of such an article. But I figured I should post something so everyone can get a basic idea of what an article will look like.
Please pardon the dust. The various article browsing and editing tools are still being created, so what you're seeing is far from the completed product. I wanted to open up the tools and let people begin posting articles as soon as possible, so this is what you get.
Features Still To Be Implemented:
Commenting: we'll allow people to comment on articles
"Like" button: we'll add a like button, so popular articles can be weeded out from the rest
RSS: we'll be adding RSS feeds for article categories and the articles area as a whole
FriendFeed: your FriendFeed will reflect newly published articles, as well as article comments.
