I don't know how he learned what he knows. I didn't help only by telling him to get a job in a sawmill if he couldn't find anything else,,,,,,,that made him start looking for some other line of work after a few short years. lol
A doctor the was taking care of his children had a screwed up network and Mark told him he might be able to get it working. The doc then started trading doctor visits for computer work. He finally asked mark after knowing him a while if he was interested in starting his own business. They named it The Computer Guy. Long story- short, the doc helped Mark get into business by renting him a room off his office and fronting him for a percentage. Mark and his lovely wife Crystal was scared s**tless at first and went through some very hard time at first but they got it going then the doctor left Elkins and Mark and Crystal bought his part of the business.
I couldn't get the rest of the article in the paper just what he posted on FB.
My kids are in tattoos, so he now has a USB emblem on one arm and several other ones.
