Can anyone tell me how to convert a sony acid file to an mp3? I recorded at track and assumed it wan an mp3 but its not. I tried to save as, but its not an option. Thanks,

Format Factory is a great free file conversion program. While there are some files not supported, I think you can get it done with this. I think Sony Acid is wav files, and they should be convertible to mp3 with format factory. Make sure after you install and start up, that you click the audio tab on the left, then select "all to mp3" and then at the bottom you browse for you song file that you want to convert. Browse for your output folder at the bottom then click ok at the top. Then it will go to another window where you click start.

If there isn't some type of export feature out of Acid you could always drag the wav file into iTunes and convert it to an mp3 that way.

Thanks! I see where i can add the file to library in itunes and it should work, but it isnt yet, and im gonna download the format factory, I think i might have figured it out using the itunes technique with windows media player. Thanks again!!
