I'm looking for a teacher. If not in my area, I could hook up Skype. I live in Chiangmai Thailand. I have a Deering Goodtime open back. I want to study 3 finger picking and have the picks, capos and several self learning books to choose from. A first time banjo player and for about 2 months now. My problem is that I just ramble from one book and song to another and need dirrection. We could work things out by PM

Go on Utube and check out beginning claw hammer .....some have learned the right hand that way, get that down then work on that left hand....
