I just received my new Eleuke Peanut, which will be replacing my Standard Eleuke. The peanut has a built in headphone amp as well as an MP3 input to play along with any tunes you are learning. I take the Eleuke on all my flights and use it to learn tunes in the lounge, on the plane or even on a bus. It is virtually silent and fits in the seat pocket.

I have re-tuned it to EADG using D'Addario nylon strings and have, on occasion, plugged into the PA on stage for grins. It costs +-$100.

Here's a heavy metal rendition of Hut on Staffin Island performed on the Eleuke Peanut...

I suppose that the name of this pretty instrument, "Eleuke", does not mean "Elephant-Uke"...big

Absit iniuria verbis!
