I know this must be easy, but can't find how, I guess I thought I would go to members home page and see something that said "send ..... a message" oh yeah ,and I think I have in the past

Individuals can decide when they set their homepages or anytime thereafter, to be available for contact from fellow BHO members or not.
They can also choose as to whether the general public can see their bios, etc.
The individual you were trying to contact may have chosen to be un-contact-able or wasn't aware they had a choice.
Hope this helps.

Visit the person's home page and on the lefthand side look for "contact (Person's name). If there's not a "send private message" underneath that, the person has decided not to allow people to contact him or her through the Hangout. If there is a "send private message", click on that and it'll bring up the PM and you can write your message and send it through the Hangout. If the person is not on the Hangout, the message will be sent to his or her e-mail after 15 minutes.

I got your friend request that said you were trying to PM me.
I just changed my settings to allow any BHO member to send me email. I hope that is what the PM problem was. I myself am not too familiar with the PM functions at BHO.
Anyway, thanks for the add. Always nice to meet another Michigan outdoorsman.
