BigMonFan - Posted - 02/08/2011:  12:38:59

You know why that is,... doncha?

A hillbilly came to town carrying a jug of moonshine in one hand and a shotgun in the other. He stopped a man on the street, saying to him "Here friend, take a drink outta my jug."

The man protested, saying he never drank.

The hillbilly leveled his shotgun at the stranger and commanded "Drink!"
The stranger drank, shuddered, shook, shivered and coughed.

"Gee! that's awful stuff you've got there."

"Ain't it, though?" replied the hillbilly.

"Now, you hold the gun on me while I take a drink."

JimmieSue - Posted - 02/08/2011:  12:45:32

BigMonFan - Posted - 02/08/2011:  17:27:42

ErikH - Posted - 02/08/2011:  17:41:21

banjoscotty - Posted - 02/08/2011:  18:49:44

Maybe so the blind person can get their money
out of bank,,,,,then they can't count it????

JimmieSue - Posted - 02/09/2011:  04:35:27

have you never walked up to the atm?

roxygrl - Posted - 02/09/2011:  04:37:50

Scotty, I realize now you weren’t mocking anyone who is unsighted, this to me would be very unfair, at first glance I thought so…......
Have y’all tried guessing the value of a bank note, closing your eyes?...well I tried it with a friend here last night, just by feeling the bill we had $50..$20..$10..$1 dollar notes an’ guessed correctly each time [two errors]… US bank notes don’t have Braille impression on them [yet] as you know…Canada does tho’ and ATMs have audio plug in for visually-impaired don’t they? ..Here’s a link to Canadian currency Braille feature…don’t you think be good idea for US to follow?

ErikH - Posted - 02/09/2011:  05:19:01

Would the braille cause the bills to hang up in automatic changers?

JimmieSue - Posted - 02/09/2011:  05:23:35

maybe the bumps help them go thru better......like traction?

ErikH - Posted - 02/09/2011:  05:36:22

Could you counterfeit the bumps to fool the blind?

JimmieSue - Posted - 02/09/2011:  05:40:25

why would you want to do that?

ErikH - Posted - 02/09/2011:  05:43:30

I wouldn't. But couldn't some unscrupulous person do so?

JimmieSue - Posted - 02/09/2011:  07:05:07

BigMonFan - Posted - 02/09/2011:  07:29:18
