My group was practicing for a weekend show last night but we had the NFL kickoff game on TV in the background and we noticed there was a banjo player playing during pregame. Never stopped to find out who it was or what they were playing. Anyone know?

I caught that as well. I don't know who the banjo player was, but he was backing up Taylor Swift.....for whatever that's worth....

The banjo player for Swift plays multiple instruments and is a lurker / seldom poster here but I forgot his name, sorry. He's extremely talented for a tall red haired dude. LOL!!! Chatted with him once on this forum but didn't know he was playing for Swift at the time. Nice guy and if anyone finds out who he is let us all know. Thanks!!

This guy was Taylor's original banjo player, but left the band sometime last year. I remember reading all about it on Taylors blog, but I'm too lazy to try and look it up again.
