been off the boards a little while,my son has been diagnosed with autism and me and my wife had to get some help for our little boy,things are going better,but i had to sell my banjo with the intention of picking up another or having a helix on here made.long story short,sorry,me and my cousins husband went friday looking for him a banjo to learn on,found quite a few,found a nice little asian ,japanese maybe?resonater back 5 string,mahogany, in a pawn shop we picked around on it,asked their low doller,left,anyway a day later he calls me up and says hey you know that banjo we looked at, i bought it for you,i cant believe it.

yeah i had to cut it short, i run out of room to type on first post,i am so excited to get to be playing again,i"m picking it up this morning,he is going to buy another banjo,wants me to teach him what i know,which is"t much,i have a long way to go.but i know one gospel song and quite a few licks".i am leaving now,i dont know how i am ever gonna repay him.he wont let me pay him for it.
