HI All, I was going to mark the neck and drill the holes for the hanger screws and I think I may have a problem with the upper screw. This pot will have a single co-rod the upper will have a nut. I can't lower the co-rod because the rim has a partial built in resonator and the rod is a low as it can go. I hope you can tell from the picture what the problem is and have an idea what to do. I can move that screw up butit would be about 1/4 to 3/8 inch from the notch and the two screws would be 1/2 to 5/8 inch apart. Thanks Larry

can you just drill another hole in the rim for the upper hanger screw a little lower ? Its gonna be just a nut on the upper bolt anyway - correct?

I can move it but they will only be about a 1/2 inch apart, I guess that won't matter

I suppose if the bolts are close together, you just won't get as much stability...

not just instability but will probably go out of tune easily - IMHO
