I learned to play this from watching Grandpa Jones play it on youtube. There ma be tab somewhere for it but I tend to play it by playing a strong clawhammer lick and holding the chords. That is the way I saw Grandpa play it. I am sure there are a lot of ways to play it.

That's one of the few songs I play with a strong chordish feel, in G
I learned it from the Carolina Chocolate drops, who plays it much like Gpa Jones:
