Thanks Richard:

Once I get my banjo back, we'll see if I did any backsliding. If, after a few days of tenor banjo-specific practice, my banjo playing isn't too bad, I think I'll concentrate on the grip as it relates to six string guitar. I've got a long way to go in that area.

Chet Atkins didn't use a flatpick.

Pick Grip Change Update: I've definitely hit a plateau in terms of term banjo improvement as it relates to the pick grip change. Tomorrow, I plan on getting out the fakebook and arranging some tunes that I've never played before. (I'm thinking about "The Man I Love," "All the Way," and "My Little Boat," but that could change.) I'm hoping that some new sounds and melodies will kickstart my right hand a bit.

Respectfully

Tony L.

Epilogue: It's been two months since I posted this. I didn't learn any of those three. Instead, something pointed me to "Mood Indigo," "Do You Know What It Means. . . ," "Someone to Watch Over Me," and "Digga Digga Doo." I'm working on those tunes.
