But here are sixteen bars of a purely original tune of my own devising, just to be redundant about it. Someday I may make up another break and then, who knows, perhaps it could be 32 bars, or, dare I dream, 48.
I apologize for the following:
Some moments of very poor timing, verging on flub.
Crappy recording
Crappy "bass"
The strange egotism/masochism that pushes me to show this to the world
Not waiting till I'd at least added a shave and a haircut.
I just wanted to see some completion of the project, however paltry.
But you'll be kind, no?

Seriously though, man thats some cool riffage! That choked lick at :26 was KILLER. Good choke technique through out. Like the motif.. I can hear a cool up the neck break with this. Enjoyed it!

Two things -
First, don't apologize and let anyone see you sweat...they wish they were doing whatever it is you are doing with that instrument...
Second, if it were 1987 at the Kentucky Fried Chicken Bluegrass Festival in Louisville KY, the old guy with the long beard and no shirt in the far back corner away from the stage we called "Chicken Man" would have been dancing his $#@ off to it. Therefore it works.
Keep pluging at it.....go for 100 bars.....

It was short so I had to play it 3 times !
The recording quality may not be the best, bit sounded like you were getting that 1948 sound that everyone has been pining after 
You've got a great start here - all you need to do is add a few variations and you've got yourself a tune. Be proud! Keep going!
