Hi folks,

As any of you who live in the Washington, D. C. / Baltimore area know, this area is experiencing what might end up being the most severe snowstorm of all time for this part of the country. Megan Lynch and I are on tour in the area - we were able to play our show in Lovingston, Virginia on Thursday night and the workshop with Bill Emerson on Wednesday was fantastic - but our Friday and Saturday concerts and workshops in the Washington, D. C. and Richmond areas have been cancelled.

Megan and I are staying with friends in Arlington, Virginia and all is fine - we're safe and warm in a house with lots of great food and instruments. We're hoping to catch our flights home on Sunday but realizing we might be here for a few more days. There's a foot of the snow on the ground with more falling!

We'll see you in Iowa next week, in California the week after that, and then Tennessee and Kentucky the last week of this month - weather permitting!

All the best,

Bill Evans
