Regarding the second bullet in Angie's Jan. 2010 issue of "Silver Strings": "JAM BUDDY CHORD CHART" -
I developed "JAM BUDDY CHORD CHART" because I wanted a chord chart of several hundred bluegrass and gospel songs that would be easy to read at a glance and I could refer to easily at jams. What I have done is just put the chart in the front of my songbook in plastic sheet protectors. With a page in the front and the back of each sheet protector it takes only 5 sheets to load the chart in the front of my songbook. I have used the chart at a number of jams and it works beautifully. You will see that I have created a unique way to list chords. At the end of the 300+ songs I have left a page with blank rows so you can make notes about songs you would like to add to the list.
Additionally, I have discovered the chart to be a very useful learning tool while practicing at home. Confidence soars when you know the chord progression of the song - right away, up front!
I hope that folks will take a look at "JAM BUDDY CHORD CHART":
