YOU DON'T NEED TO SHOUT. ALL CAPS IS CONSIDERED ANNOYING ON BHO.

Now...that's more like it. There are some B & D experts on BHO...I'm not one of them..just an admirer of the Groton CT made-pre Gretsch B & D's. Hopefully they'll respond. That's a beautiful 19 fret tenor. Have you explored what these actually sell for on ebay? That's a good resource of what buyers are actually willing to pay as opposed to what a dealer might appraise it at. Best of luck with your sale.

That's a Sultana.

The Sultana was first issued in 1929. It would be helpful to know the serial number in order to date the particular year this one was built. But to my eye it appears to be Groton built and still has all its original parts.

I'm having a hard time reading the model name on the peghead. Typically, the name "Sultana" was engraved in red in the middle of the peghead, below the "B&D" marking and above the "Silver Bell" engraving (you can see pics of mine at my home page).

Any chance you can post a closer shot of the peghead and the serial nos.? (The SNs would be stamped inside the rim and on the dowel stick).

Sorry I can't opine on value/price as mine is a #1 and I've not seen many 3's in the market. I am sure that Polle can be more help in that regard.
