The DIXIE horns was a brilliant touch, since most BHO members would have figured out what the sound track would contain, after the first few notes.
And that revelatory picture of Earl, posted by Jackjack, is probably going to end up in somebody's compilation of "proof" that Lizards from Beyond the Moon are the ones really running this planet.

As I understand it, there are 4 levels of close encounters...
Close Encounter of the First kind - A sighting of one or more unidentified flying objects:
Close Encounter of the Second kind - An observation of a UFO, and associated physical effects from the UFO.
Close Encounter of the Third kind - An entity is observed only inside/outside the UFO
