I was gonna try to get a skin head that is translucent. any suggestions.

Rogers used to make a really fine calf head. One of them came on my 1958 Pete Seegar Vega and while they were still in business I ordered a couple of them from Vega. I don't know if they are still available tho. My old Grandaddy swore by tom cat, but that involves a lot of work. Tom cat is translucent. You could make out the inlay inside the pot of his SS Stewart.

Hey eddie another good looker, are you only going to have one lag screw in the neck I think Jason uses a metal bracket with another bolt going in the neck, also what are you using on the bottom. I really like the look but went a different route. Larry
