I wanted to do a sound comparison with a new Kat Eyz McCormick Bridge I got recently, playing a few verses of Blueridge Cabin Home in each of the keys G, G#, A, A# and B. It's so interesting how the tone changes, for any bridge, from key to key, and this bridge really does it for me, especially in A# and B. I couldn't believe what I was hearing in those keys. I'm still in love with my Yates 33 tonering, (Thanks Warren!!) that I'm using in my banjo.
So here's the links:

Doug, great playing! The banjo sounds great on all of them, but I like the sound of the A, A# and B versions the best, just a little clearer. What was the weight on the bridge?
I always enjoy your music. Thanks for posting it!

I forgot!! I know it's either 2.2g or 2.3g, but I'd have to take it off to find out! Actually, no, I'll get back with you. Mike puts all that info on the back of the case for the bridge, and that case is up at my studio.... I'll take a peek tomorrow.

They all sound great . . . but I agree that it seemed to sound best up higher. It produced a tighter more focused sound. That isn't very scientific. It is hard to explain. I too have a Kat Eyz and I love it.
