Hi folks,
Here's a shameless plug for the OME I just posted to the Classifieds. It's a custom Jubilee Deluxe with the most amazing Brazilian rosewood fingerboard/peghead overlay and heel cap, and abalone inlays (instead of the usual white pearl); also includes an extra inlay in the scoop, a shooting star. Fancy, fancy one-piece figured maple neck and rim veneers. Basically a brand new banjo including hardshell case. Lots of photos in the ad, but I can always take more. Thanks for taking a look. Everyone needs an OME in their herd...

Great banjos of course, and hard to find at a price like that, which is about $850 off "list." Dealers wait months to more than a year for these to show up, and they don't stay on the shelf.

In my rush to post the ad for the OME, I neglected to state that it's a 12" pot. The Jubilee is OME's answer to the "woody", so there is no tone ring in the conventional sense. Instead, the top surface of the rim has been turned to create a beveled edge. Tried to show it in a photo, but it isn't easy to capture.

Back on the blocks. Thought the OME was sold, but the buyer changed his mind. No ill feelings on my part, but I thought I should call attention to the fact that it's still available, particularly since I already notified a few folks that it had sold, and I'm afraid I've already eliminated their original email messages. Sorry for any confusion. Someone needs this lovely banjo!
