Maybe it's just me but with all the replay's showing bad calls, I think maybe they are just trying to justify their existence.

The players are getting back at them. Last week the Rams Steven Jackson ran right over one. That why I am all for, instant replay in baseball. I am sure it is a pretty tough job, I once umpired a little league baseball game , it aint as easy as it looks.

I realize it's a tough job, and they only have a second to make a decision, but maybe they should overlook some of these minor infractions.

I tell you, we've got some bad refs here in the SEC, they are clearly favoring Florida and Alabama. The SEC really wants Florida and Alabama in the SEC championship game it seems.

the Chicago Bears were ripped off with some terrible calls, they still deserved to get blown away they played poorly.

This shouldn't be a problem considering they are the best two teams in the SEC. -Jimmy

I'm totally in favor of instant replay in all sports. While it may break with tradition, if we have the technology to help the refs make better calls, why not use it (within reason)? There is no way an official can see everything, and the potential for a team/person to lose a game (even a championship) as the result of a bad call is just too high of a price to pay.

I live in the heart of Gator country. A few weeks ago when Arkansas was in town, I got up to go to the store and I grabbed one of my Razorbacks t-shirts. I got home and told my wife, "Man I been getting some strange looks from people." Then I realized that the Gators were playing the Razorbacks that day and I was wearing a Razorback shirt. You take your life in your hands when you wear a Razorback shirt in Gator territory. And, Arkansas nearly beat the Gators that day. I live in the mountains..... I think regarding the minor infractions, the NFL has implemented rules that make it difficult to interpret what is & what is not allowed. Especially ones concerning protecting the Quarterback.

What's with all this calling on Excessive Celebration in the End Zone? Some of these calls are ridiculous.

Yeah, they are the two best teams, no doubt about it. But it looks like from some of the games I've seen, they are getting a little extra help. Travis

Are they refs or game moderators?
