Thats one of my favorite tunes to play on guitar, I never gave it more than a thought on banjo. hehe... I love the way you traversed the B section, man thats so nice... Thank you again Laurence, you are a constant inspiration and I get allot of encouragement from your recordings! (Nice rythm too hehe... ) I've always played that in Bb, I immagine that would not be best suited for banjo, what key are you in??
HIKE FASTER I hear a banjo...

Thanks Michael - yeah, Bb is also the most logical key on banjo, seeing as the tonal center moves all over the place anyway!! That G 5th string doesn't really get in the way, as it sounds like a 9th, a 6th, a 3rd whatever... Cheers, Laurence It takes a lot to laugh, but it takes a train to cry

Excellent playing as usual, Laurence. You are certainly one of the finest musicians here on the Hangout. I wish I could get into the jazz groove like that. Simply outstanding. Thanks for contributing.

Very cool indeed. I wish someone in this neck of the woods picked like that. I've been seeking such a teacher for years!
Love to hear more!

Awesome! Very inspiring.

Thanks Jim, that's a great compliment - not sure it's deserved - but nice to hear, especially from a fine player like yourself!

I wanted to try this tune, but then at the end I realized that you can't play it without Scruggs tuners. Nice touch.
Seriously, very nice job on a great tune.

Haha! Actually Sal, that final bend I am doing with my fingers - I fret the 4th string and bend the 3rd down towards the floor.

Terry - you shouldn't wait that long You can probably find a chord chart out on the web, or I could probably write them out for you if you can't find them.
