I think the way they were promoted on this forum really soured a lot of folks towards them.

Unsure of the sour history myself, but I'd like a link also.

Sounds interesting.

You can find them in the "Links" under "Shopping" and "Accessories".

Or try this http://www.apollotuner.com/

What intonation problems?
I've been using Keith tuners since 1975 and they have always, and I mean always performed flawlessly.

They are extremely well made.

Looking at the instruction manual, I just couldn't bring myself to drill holes into my peghead.

I've had issues with the Keith wanna-be tuners, but not with the Real Bills!

The only intonation problems I have encountered in nearly 40 years of using Keith tuners is when I have incorrectly set the stops. That is, in order to set the stops accurately, you have to tune UP to the higher note and DOWN to the lower note. If you do it any other way, they are liable to be out -- i.e., the "weird intonation problems" referred to, I presume.

I have had Keith tuners on my banjo for years, and NEVER has any problems, least of all intonation. They are dead accurate. As well, they are simply the best tuners I have ever used.

Two tiny holes dont mean a thing. You can also use two sided tape but you will have a better attachment by screwing them on .I play a Huber Lancaster and I dont think it hurt the value of it at all.(I would'nt sell it to you for all the Coal in Kentucky)anyway!
