Does anyone use one of these? I've had one since june and even with the "help" of the instruction manual I can't figure out how to work it out, not even the most simple of tasks can I acheive using this peice of kit.

Can anyone give me some idea of how to work it?

I'd tell you if i could, but the Boss Dr. Rhythm DR55 drum machine that I bought "lightly used" years ago (~$100 IIRC) at a music store konked out about 2 days after I bought it and it has been sitting on a shelf ever since. Didn't get the chance to explore it much at all. They wouldn't refund my $$$. Grrrr....

I have the same problem with band in the box I purchesed. They said it is simple but I still can'r figure it out. I think you need to be a rocket scientist to figure these things out sometimes.

I have extensive knowledge of using these types of things in particular the BOSS interface, I played rock guitar for many years and had a huge array of effects pedals and proccessors with which to contend with, always with no trouble.

I have no experience of programming drum machines and this one just baffles me.

The instruction manuals for all the older model BOSS drum machines are available on line. My DR660 is programmable but with the exception of waltz tempo, I don't need it (yet).

We do not know where we are going.
Nor do most of us care.
For us, it is enough that we are on our way.
