So has anyone heard of the pickin on' series...they take alot of well known songs and put a bluegrass spin on them quit amazing!!

Yup! There is a buncha great stuff in that series, metal, jam bands, country... the list goes on.
I like the 'thinkin outside the box' mentality of whomever started those.

I have Mettalica and Green Day, out of the two I like the Mettalica the best.

There was a very interesting interview with the guy in banjo newsletter back maybe 6 months ago.
Sounds like a real interesting idea that caught on better than anyone expected.
