I know ... a little early, but I am working on some things in my home studio and the Christmas thing keeps poping into my head, so I have just finished this one.

This was one of those things that I thought would be easy to record … until I sat down at the microphone! The third chord in is a BbDIM and I had to learn it on the guitar!

In the key of G, this simple sounding piece is an iconic, Christmas-time classic and was well worth the effort I had to put into recording this short version in my home studio.

I am playing all of the instruments (banjo, bass, guitar and mandolin) on these tracks.

Please let me know how if like it. The banjo lead isn’t very difficult and I will eventually get around to tabbing it out and posting it as well.

Enjoy!
