Bill Rogers stole my initial response so --

I'm surprised no one (so far) is currently living in NJ. It's the most densely populated state in the union! Anyway, I live in the area of Paterson NJ, by way of (in reverse order):
Binghamton NY, SF CA, Mexico DF, Berkeley CA, Binghamton NY, New Hope PA, Westboro MA, San Juan Puerto Rico, Syracuse NY, West Lafayette IN.

That's an average of 4.45 years per location --

The People's Republic of Massachusetts, at least that's where I live. I was born and grew up in Ohio. Actually, like Kentucky, Massachusetts considers itself a "Commonwealth," not a state.

My old home of Puerto Rico doesn't "consider" itself a commonwealth, it is one!

"Puerto Rico is a self-governing commonwealth in association with the United States. The chief of state is the President of the United States of America. The head of government is an elected Governor. There are two legislative chambers: the House of Representatives, 51 seats, and the Senate, 27 seats. Puerto Rico has authority over its internal affairs. The US controls [trade, military, foreign relations, commerce, currency, postal system, etc.]."
