While there feel free to vote daily for the opportunity to win to opening slot for
Bela Fleck (or another headliner) on the main stage! Now that would be a DREAM come TRUE!
And while the festival will serve to break a band or two, festival-goers will get to help children. A portion of ticket proceeds will be donated to two non-profit organizations, the Saving tiny Hearts Society (www.savingtinyhearts.org), and Prevent Child Abuse America (www.preventchildabuse.org)

Dgill- yeah it's finially te chance to do "my own" type sound to the banjo-
This new cd has respect for the old traditional sounds- then more new textures as to where I personally hear the banjo going. Fun to play and sing to!

BTW, I voted for you . . . but instead of wanting to open for Bela maybe Bela should be wanting to be the opening act for YOU!

Did not win the main contest- but worries...
Got 2 HUGE (paying) gigs out of it!
The exposure from remaining on the TOP page was priceless-
Thanks to ALL of you who did actually go through the trouble of
