John Ramsey of Tejon Street Music in Colorado Springs does excellent work.... I had him recut the heel of my KK10 a couple of years ago.

Michael: Over the years I have had many repairs done by the excellent luthiers in the area such as Chris Herbert, Edward Dick, Greg German and John Ramsey. They are all very knowledgeable and capable. Working on a banjo heel cut though requires specific knowledge and skills. John Ramsey is an expert in this area.
