Hey folks,
I recently aquired what has been said to be a 1980's epiphone masterbuilt. I play a Deering Sierra, but I bought it is a back up and because the seller only wanted 300 bucks. Now I say "only", because the banjo sounds and plays so amazingly and I felt it was a great deal. I have no clue as to what this is worth, and I don't have the serial number right now (at work), but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these or knows where there is a serial number list I could reference when I get home.
thanks!
Regards,
Matt

I also have an EPI MB250 from the late 80's. Paid $350 last year. It's a solid unit, and when properly set-up sounds really good. They seem to go between $300 - $500. There are several different models, 200, 250, 350, so that depends also. Street price on a new 250 is only $600.
Haven't looked for a serial number list.
John
