I recently posted a review of the new BanjoMate nickel-plated Tone Enhancer. I have used the unplated version for the last several months and was surprised in what I found in comparing the two. Check it out here:

Great review and very detailed, well written report.
I like the wide variation of Banjos you tried it in, and now have some additional solid field testing to back it up.
The additional plating only adds 2.8 grams for a total weight of 1.2 ounces.
