Couple of weeks ago I met Tony Marshall of our hangout members. Nice guy, seen him again last night. Tony come on up to the house sometime we'll pick a tune. Always good to meet in person the fine folks that are on the forum here. Is this banjo realated ?, yep because Tony plays one and I dabble in picking one myself every now and then.

Thanx Jeff! I was getting ready to start a thread on you and your performance last night when I ran across this post. Thanx so much... I have enjoyed meeting you and your lovely wife and hearing your perform. You're a super nice guy and a heckuva mando player. I look forward to coming up and hanging out with you soon.
ALL the BHO members I've met have been super nice folks! And Jeff is certainly no exception!

Jeff, Tony! Let me know when you get together. I'm not far from you (Franklin). I've been here three moths and haven't found a jam session yet.

Curtis, You're as welcome as rain anytime.... but that's a 3 1/2 hr drive!!! You are right there in the heart of the Appalachians, there's GOT to be a jam somewhere almost every night there.
Come on, some of you mountain jammers throw Curtis a "shout out"!!!

My good freind Jim Wingate, Flying Eagle on the hangout drove all the way from Simpsonville S.C. to my home on August 28, a good 5 hours I believe. He, myself, Danny Bowers on the hangout, Brandon Boyles on the hangout, and my good freinds, Jon Wolfe, Winfred Hunt, Jim Conner had a blast picking that evening from 7:15 pm until the next morning at 3:45. Don't ever underestimate the power of the wonderful music we all play. I'm sure that Danny and the rest of us would also go that far to pick with Jim, he's a great guy and outstanding banjer picker. I hope we can all get together again soon. It was some of the best music I have ever helped make in my entire life.
