Hi,

I have an older 70's Eagle Kit banjo (which I've been posting about a lot lately) and I want to replace my rusted tension hoop hooks and nuts.

Now I believe that I have is older waverly style 8-26 thread. I went to the local folk store around here noticed that the hooks sold are either A) shorter or B) have flat hook that doesn't fit my tension hoop. Mine are the older style non-flat (for lack of a better word) that are 2 1/2 inches long.

I was told that these are hard to find. Does anyone know where I can get some, and specifically what model they are. I see a bunch at JanetDavisMusic but I can't tell if they're long enough or if they're the right type.

Thanks!
Matt
